Snow

As the snow falls, I find myself reflecting on this new, unexpected chapter of my life. Of all places, Ohio has become the place I can finally call home. And it’s not just “better than nothing”—it’s so much more.

Here, in this little town, I’ve discovered who I truly am and where I belong. It’s a priceless revelation in the chaotic timeline of my life.

I sit outside, mesmerized by the snowflakes drifting to the ground. Snow—such a strange and wondrous phenomenon. As someone born and raised in Texas, where snow is a rare luxury, this abundance feels like a gift. While the locals grumble about it, I can’t get enough.

Each snowflake, undeniably unique, reminds me of the beauty in individuality. I feel like a guest at Mother Nature’s grand performance, watching her craft each delicate flake before sending it on its way. It’s breathtaking.

How grateful I am to be here, to witness this beauty.
